Now the router: The Wizards are thoughtful, but not enough to match the levels of the router from AVM.
Annoying is that restarts after every change of the router - that's because the equipment better with a dual-core processor.
Also with me is the surface of the web interface hung up several times - the firmware is not mature even in the latest version 3.1.68.
The generated wireless values are truly phenomenal - readings prove it.
Which is a shame: Still (ie can be used that also channels 48) is missing for Germany DFS certification.
In itself, nothing bad, but the R7000 has been connected to a Fritz box that serves as a "modem" - the R7000 is delivered without modem.
So I disabled the WLAN of the Fritz box and just let the WLAN of R7000 active because I wanted to use this as a "base station".
Result: Despite dozens Einstellversuche in 5GHz range, it was impossible for me to turn another Fritz box as Repeater behind the R 7000.
I can only guess that the AVM repeater with auto channel in the 5 GHz-band channels 48 selects which (still) can not use the R7000.
So I was forced again to use a Fritz box as a base station in order for the R7000 was unnecessary.
Also, the AVM Support could not answer me, why does not my question.

Now we have already in mid-September, the promised firmware update is still missing.
At my request a few days ago to the Amazon Netgear support I received the answer that the certification should be completed in September.
Then I can not leave me - with the current firmware of the router for me is useless and will be returned to Amazon.
