And now this product of PELTEC @: As a substitute for a slightly aged battery for my HP EliteBook 8540w I already ordered a product of this brand. It came with an initial charge of 55% and could be recharged during operation at 100%.
Now a procedure that should not be neglected:
After the battery has been stressed twice to shutdown the computer and recharged.
That was the "calibration". Are first fully charged for these needs the battery to the display by 100 percent and are then removed from the charger. Subsequently, through the Control Panel of the operating system, the power options to conserve power during battery operation, deactivated. Now the notebook has to run until the battery is completely discharged and the unit shuts down on its own. Now you have to connect the notebook to the power adapter and restart. The battery gauge is now calibrated and indicates the correct term. After calibration, you can adjust the original Power Options again to reduce power consumption.
In all of this, it turned out that the acquisition of the "PELTEC @ Premium Notebook Laptop Batteries" has paid off. I am - as far as is possible - already sure that he is the original battery par.
What does that say of now to the aforementioned battery for Lenovo ThinkPad T410i?
So far, so much: This 6600mAh battery behaved in the same way. He was pumped, discharged by high load, fully recharged and stressed again. He behaved like what I would call "normal."
But in a few weeks, I will comment on how the battery has proven itself in the longer term.
But already it is clear that this battery among the various offers one of the cheapest. However, there is a battery with the same power rating of vhbw cheaper by a few euros. Maybe it comes from the same production that takes place in China anyway.
