The housing is made of thin, strong plastic. The display is easy to read even outdoors. Excessive levels I can not determine. It will probably be reduced by the applied by me screen protector which I definitely recommend, as it improves the wiping function and avoids scratches.
The voice on the phone is loud and clear.
