Hear, feel, see - I love my Sony

Many MP3 players can do much - but not correct - and, above all one thing: a good sound. Who can do without frills and a player with good sound and top processing examined is the right place with the Sony 829. Have him only for a few days, but I'm already more than satisfied.

Sound: the headphones makes the sound - and Sony sets the EX headphones a wonderfully clear and punchy sounding and also comfortable to wear Kopförer at which really made me totally convinced. The bass sound not only, but are almost palpable. The transparency is enormous, the sound is always soft and comfortable. The sound tools (Surround, EQ, etc.) to help in case of doubt, but who really needs only in exceptional cases. The basic sound is excellent, the maximum volume is just below the pain threshold, so you may well turn up sometimes and enjoy. Here, the sound is always top. Again: The bass must have heard coming because "normal" Headphones mE after not having! Exterior noise is almost entirely eliminated by the design of the KH, since they are pressed into the ear canal. Initially a bit strange, in the long run but pleasant - and keeps very well in movement.

Operation: The manual you can safely put on the shelf, the device can be operated intuitively. I was skeptical at first because of the 5-way element, but this is convincing both haptic, as well as in practical use. One navigates quickly and single-handedly from X to Y and has everything firmly under control. A touchscreen is here mE by "inferior" in so far considering precision and ergonomic comfort, feel and Easy Ness.

Processing: The unit is processed wonderfully, looks very very classy (the photos can only guess at this). The switches and paddles are working very nice, it's fun to handle the device.

Connection, Loading, playlists etc .: Works alls P & P without problems. On request, the players from selected files automatically playlists together (via the PC in the Explorer). Unfortunately, you can not edit the playlists in the device itself, but the menu system etc. make almost unnecessary, especially when imported into individual folders Collections from the outset. Very nice is the Stanby function, the player is announce clearl there when you need him.

Disadvantages, problems, impressions:

Unfortunately can not navigate in the player or you play music, wenne it is connected via USB (with me so far, at least not).

For filling and loading you need the special Sony cable or replicas.

The headphones are unfortunately delivered without box, the cables are a bit thin and twisting slightly.

Once the player is connected to USB it is charging. It would be in terms of battery life desirable if we could switch to power-operation (and the same could also play files (see above)).

Sadly you can not edit or delete titles. This must be done via USB everything.

The battery life is really as long as indicated. It, if you could even replace the battery, but as Sony sees well a certain charge in front would be nice. But never mind - in all likelihood the service life is probably 3-5 years, if not 10 degrees.

Long file names are slightly corrosive, because the font is quite large and slow scrolling. Here editing would be desirable.

Bundled Set (in my at least), the EX-wired-HP are included. So confidently access!

Surprised me, however, that the charger for the BT-HP had no plug for the German space but any other format, you then need forthe ne clutch.

The BT HP I find homemade very crummy. The folding is very strange, the KH can quickly break down and also does not sit really good on the ears. An adjustment capability for individual adaptations to the head width is non-existent.

In short: buy recommendation - I love my Sony! I'm really critical and always wonder where the downside is. Could here find no hidden disadvantage all wonderful. The question of the equipment you have to decide for themselves (no REC, no FM, no games, etc.) - the device is just a purist. And again: The sound is wonderful, the basses you can hear better than on the system, they sound nice deep and clubby, otherwise everything warm and soft and simply enjoyable!
