Blow of heart for this moving testimony of a survivor of the concentration camps. I am not usually attracted to this kind of works, but given the many rave reviews we read about it, I (for once) been tempted. And I do not regret! I read it in one sitting and I came away as "stunned." This poignant testimony, written with great modesty, touched me deeply. A must read, if only by the duty of memory (some have short memories ... but unfortunately, those will never read this kind of work!)
