Use the heating cable with a switch to (about 1.8 meters) to protect an endangered frost oleander plant in winter, on the terrace. So far it has survived even night frosts of minus 8 degrees due to the heating.
The timer I programmed a switch from 3 clock at night and 8:30 clock in the morning.
During the day it was with us not yet so cold and zusätzl.ist the plant with a "winter fleece" wrapped up and standing on a Styrofoam plate.
