Processing and delivery:
The scale itself makes a high quality impression. The belt is stable, the snag and the bottom of the scale are made of metal and a flashlight (which my mind, however, is only partially realized). On one of the existing plastic side panels, the battery compartment is housed. There are (supplied) button batteries that are quite compressed in the unit. A little anecdote to illustrate this: I have unsuspectingly opened the flap of the battery compartment and the 3 button batteries shot up to 2m far beyond. This is also one of the few criticisms of the scale, but this is negligible, because you can be sure, if one is aware of this fact. The packaging itself is a 0-8-15 board, so nothing worth mentioning.
Functionality:
I compared the results of this balance with those on check-in and was pleasantly surprised. Indeed, there was max. 100g deviation. The balance can be grasped with both hands, so you can easily weigh even heavier suitcase (specified maximum load of the balance, according to packaging: 50kg). It is useful nevertheless to weigh before checking in the luggage twice because a trembling (by weight) arm, the result can falsify something.
General information:
The balance is almost 14cm long, 23cm of belt. The long strap slightly thicker parts of the case can be used (for example, I have a slightly thicker handle in the center of the top, which I always used to weigh). The results appear quite long, so you have to be no hassle at weaning arise.
Summary:
+ Flashlight (for whatever :-))
+ Batteries were there
Processed + Stable
+ Exactly
+ Long belt
+ Palpable with both hands
- Batteries are in the compartment under pressure. So when the lid of the battery compartment is broken can no longer function the device.
Conclusion:
I would recommend this balance at any time buy back, as it does not only work great but the price / performance ratio with ~ 20 EUR is also great.
