Positives:
+ No cable
Because of Ergorapido can dispense as Akkusauger on a cable, you can suck wonderful with him, without having to worry about the hassle of cables. It was formerly an ordeal for me to suck our three-story staircase, which is equipped only with very few outlets. The Ergorapido the staircase is now sucked jerk twitching, here it is worth using in my opinion the most.
+ 2-in-1 action
It has at the same time always sucking a hand vacuum cleaner doing, which can be easily removed with a handle, which is sometimes very convenient.
+ No bag
Thanks waiver Staubsaugerbeutel the environment and my wallet is spared. The emptying of the waste collecting container is simple and easy to clean the filters.
+ Handling
The Ergorapido is actually easy to use. He is perfect in weight, so that even I (, 1.70 m w) can him with just one hand. As my massive garden shovel is heavier than the Ergorapido ... In addition, the rotating 180 ° -Bodendüse relatively small, so you order comes in hard to reach corners.
+ Lighting
First, I had to smile about the lighting of the floor nozzle, but now it's really convenient. By LEDs you can see the dirt and dust much better, what VA pays off in darker corners.
+ Installation
The suction can be freely positioned during a Saugpause any time without aids without tipping. So you have to put in the charging station or lean against a wall, which is handy when cleaning it not always.
+ Volume
The volume is less than that of my previous vacuum cleaner. I would compare the volume level about using a blow dryer.
+ Storage
All the suckers including charger takes up very little space and is Ruck Zuck space savingly eg behind a door.
Neutral:
o dirt pocket
The dirt container has only the size of an ordinary upright vacuum cleaner and is therefore relatively small. So it can happen that you have to empty it frequently during feeding, which should be kept in mind especially in larger apartments or houses. That's not so bad, but can be very annoying with time.
o Production
The Ergorapido is made primarily of plastic. That makes sense because of weight savings, but this he acts not just quality. This also applies for the supplied charging station. Before first use, you must first connect the handle to the device and then fix it with a supplied, massive screw. The first attachment was not a problem, but to me the screw last week has suddenly dropped while sucking out and can no longer be secure since. I now had to stick together both parts with tape, which looks terrible and if I would have paid money for the equipment, I would send it back because of this defect or can be exchanged. I do not know if the problem is with the screw on all devices or whether I caught a Monday device, but I wanted to have mentioned it.
Negatives:
- Suction
Sorry me the suction power of the 18V Li-Ion batteries do not entirely convincing and that's the biggest drawback of this device. For slippery floors such as tiles, parquet or laminate of Ergorapido though has little problems and sucks crumbs or dust off reliably. But with carpets or rugs in general it will be difficult. Here I have every time with a lot of effort constantly back and forth with the floor nozzle, with dust, lint or dog hair are picked up by suction. When vacuuming carpets of Ergorapido can not compete with the ordinary canister vacuum cleaners by far and is therefore not suitable for an apartment with many carpets in my opinion. Even worse is when we live with pets in the household, because we have a dog (Border Collie) and two cats. Especially with the dog hairs of Ergorapido is not finished and it is almost impossible to suck this order upholstery or carpets. These experiences reflect the stronger of the two suction levels, because the weaker brings in my opinion no power and is for naught.
- Not removable floor nozzle
Unfortunately, it is the floor nozzle down not lose weight, which is no problem with ordinary canister vacuum cleaners. I think that's a shame, because I can not suck so cobwebs from the walls / corners. I am only 1,70m tall and come with the hand vacuum cleaner alone most cobwebs in the upper corners of the room / Area Borders not ran. This is very annoying, because I then again have to take a vacuum cleaner with a correspondingly long vacuum cleaner tube at hand.
- Design
The design is not ideal if you want to bring the Ergorapido in the horizontal to suck for example under the bed. The "belly" of the nipple is relatively thick, which means that in a horizontal position, the floor nozzle slightly up in the air and no longer has any contact with the ground.
- Price
Currently, the unit for a whopping 229 Euros (8 May 2014) is available, which is significantly more expensive than ordinary vacuum cleaner. In my opinion, right here the value for money not taking into account the shortcomings and, above all, the comparatively poor suction. The price would be in addition to the poor suction the main reason for me to decide against the device, but it must itself decide how much money he can spend on a vacuum cleaner / want any yes.
Conclusion:
I can recommend the Ergorapido AG 3013 single or at most two-person households, if you're willing to spend a little more money. For apartments, it is ideal because it's battery life of about 30 minutes is sufficient to again to suck the whole apartment. In addition, he may at any time be stored in a space-saving and not about the way.
Residents of larger apartments should think twice about the purchase and only access without hesitation if you have little or no carpets. Otherwise you need better or worse yet a second more powerful (ground) and can exploit the vacuum cleaner Ergorapido sense only as a secondary device for spaces such as the staircase. Whether that makes sense then (especially in the high price), everyone must decide for themselves, after all, there is for smooth floors such as parquet or tiles are still the good old broom).
Anyone who is unsure and afraid of high investment, the unit can also only one test at a local dealer and then decide.
I can well imagine that Akkusauger as the Ergorapido are the future and eventually replace the ordinary vacuum cleaner with cable. However, they have to be in my opinion, still being developed and improved (primarily in terms of suction power!). If in future battery performance (and thus the cleaning performance) greatly improve and the price will be lowered slightly, I would be willing, one of the successor models of AEG Ergorapido AG to buy 3013.
