So far I have a Bose On-Ear Headphones used which can be worn very pleasant, but unfortunately has a very bass-driven sound, which was not so much more. Looking for a headset with a balanced sound without special bass or treble emphasis, which also dissolves very fine, and studying countless tests on the internet and journals I have become aware of the T50P Beyerdynamic. Although sharing the opinions about the sound, I slammed for almost 190 'euros on Amazon. The processing of the T50P is very solid. The headset consists mostly of metal and not plastic like most competitor (Bose included). The earphones are acoustically closed and relatively large for a mobile headset. The speakers are powered by the Tesla technology of Beyerdynamic that promises a fairly high efficiency. As an accessory, a practical storage bag and two adapters are included, which is perfectly adequate for normal use. Unfortunately, the cable to the T50P is fixed on two sides, and not unilaterally as with my Bose. The cable can not be replaced easily and because it is firmly connected to the earphones. Overall, the workmanship is very high and is indicative of a long shelf life. At first I was quite disappointed by the sound, because the lower frequency range was very weak. I then found out fairly quickly that the seat of the headphones for the sound is critical. Sits right on the listener's ears, the sound is excellent, in my view, as balanced with a slight emphasis on the midrange, fine resolution and good deep staggered. However, slip the handset on the head or it does not fit properly, the sound deteriorated rapidly. In direct comparison with the Bose On-Ear me the sound of the T50P like much better. A plus point of the T50P is in my view even the significantly greater efficiency than competitive models, for example neodymium chassis. Already with the smallest volumes on my smartphone (Samsung Omnia 7), you can still hear well. I have so far not experienced with other headphones. I can carry the handset too long without hurting me a little, although I classifies the comfort of my Bose higher. Due to the strong seat-dependent sound image I forgive 4 stars.
