I also worked in the 90 years already with the MS Natural keyboards and they have given me always very good. I am left-handed, my hands are long and thin.
PRO:
====
- Very high-quality workmanship, creaks here and nothing wobbles! The criticized by many battery lasts me bombenfest
- Battery life supposedly 3 year (maturity Ecplise: 10 hours).
- Very good pressure point with flattened keys
- Separate number block = very handy and I use more often than thought
- Shared Space key; The pressure resistance, one has else with broad Space keys drops
- Compact size, smaller than anything I had previously (Enermax Aurora, Eclipse LiteTouch), in the pictures looks the Sculpt from huge, deceived mightily
- Function keys including all the indispensable (up / down) and Win 8 specific keys; Pressure point nicely crisp, the precipitated personally
- Also very cool: You have to hold any FN key but flip a slider = Some hate it, I find it extremely comfortable!
- Numeric keypad as well as the high-quality workmanship keyboard with excellent tactile feedback and has its own calculator button. Here someone has been thinking.
- The reception is fantastic! Despite 2.4GHz frequency band I have now no more problems with downloads USB WLAN stick (which I had constantly in Ecplise!)
- Batteries are commercially available AA batteries; so an exchange is possible (had the Ecplise a non-replaceable battery LiOn)
- Palm rest made of soft material, a real flatterer and ensures relaxed wrists straight after prolonged operation (I program a lot)
CONTRA:
=======
- Palm rest susceptible to dirt (white crumbs), but these are easy to wipe
- Writing experience at the beginning of odd, 2 Weeks button was always right next to it, now I write again blind (eg this review here)
- The piano black parts of the keyboard are absolutely fingerprint appealing. Here one sees quickly when exposed to light footprints or streaks.
- No keyboard light (of the feature I've long since passed, simply sucks in wireless keyboards too much battery)
NEUTRAL:
========
- No status lights: For me, not a disadvantage, because Windows 8 at the bottom right a box pops up with "Caps Lock ON / OFF", etc. warnings. So I do not need any more for LED.
CONCLUSION:
======
Would I buy the keyboard? Quite clear: Yes!
I've only spent a little money for a proper office chair for ergonomic seating and then wanted to not skimp on the keyboard.
The writing feeling is just great, the keyboard is easy and space-saving, despite the unusual design and no creaks. Also the separate NumBlock fun, use the part more often now than in the past because I just there to lay it where I need it (important for me as a left-handed).
Dropouts due to radio problems I had not yet, the reception seems to be quite strong (despite the transmitter Position the back of the PC case).
Games I've played (The Dark Mod), with WASD I had (in contrast to one reviewer) no problems yet.
Who dares, the keyboard should just try it, however, I have dispensed with the mouse to the rodents can not comment (using a Logitech G9).
