In my school years I had almost exclusively Lamy fountain pen. I have learned to write at that time with the Lamy with wood coating. Then I had the classic Lamy fountain pen made of plastic. My requirements for a new filler were: There should be no child-fillers, like metal spring with thin typeface and possible again Lamy. This pen fulfills all the criteria. It is made of aluminum and looks very classy. He is not very long, the length is just ok. The two ends of the filler are not made of aluminum, but made of black plastic. The spring (Lamy M) is very thin and allows a beautiful typeface. Initially, the ink did not really on paper; the filler needs a longer period of time, until he is enrolled. In addition, the closure is sometimes a bit lax. Overall, I am very satisfied and have found for the coming years a new filler.
