I want you / you describe here my experiences with the Leicke Sharon Bluetooth Keyboard & Protective Case for Samsung Tab 10.5 S.
Delivered this is a hand crafted gift box packaging.
The delivery is next to the combined Keyboard & Case, a protective bag made of microfiber fabric with a Leicke brand logo, a microUSB cable and a Quick Start Guide in German / English.
The carrying bag is a nice addition, but protects the keyboard only slightly from external influences.
Effective protection against knocks or even water should not be expected of them.
The Bluetooth 3.0 keyboard is 25cm wide, 18cm deep, only 6mm in height and weighs 263 grams.
It is made on the front of matte black plastic.
There, the recess for receiving the Tab S is also clearly visible 10.5 tablets.
The tablet can be put in there whatever works quite well. However, my position is a little too steep and can not vary. In addition to the lower retaining lugs no protective stopper / rubber are mounted so that I have some concern about the housing part of my S Tab.
On the back of an aluminum directly used the incident on which this can have a very high quality.
There also four rubber feet are attached the anti-slip effect.
The top row of keys is completely occupied with special radio ions.
In my Tab 10.5 LTE S eg home, Taksmanager, Email, Play / Pause, Skip + / skip buttons, Vol + / Vol + function, raise / lower and Copy & Paste perfectly. Make work much easier, which can be almost a mini-PC, the Tablet.
The keys are the way also described properly in the Quick Start Guide.
Pressing the Fn key on the bottom left to other operating systems and device-specific functions (highlighted in yellow) must be called. These include the lock screen, voice control / Search, choice of keyboard layouts, display the on-screen keyboard).
This additional keyboard mapping is not explained in the accompanying Quick Start Guide, but may be worried by downloading them from the manufacturers website.
The one negative of me too auffälige [.....] writing on the Space key.
I consider this totally out of place there for and it confuses me every time when writing.
That would Leicke can save yourself and the better self-promotion on the top left next to the Sharon lettering can attach.
Too bad for me a clear and totally unnecessary downside.
The Bluetooth pairing / coupling works for but excellent.
Just the on / off switch at the top right side activate "Connect" button (the Bluetooth icon lights up) and then as usual be coupled to the smartphone / tablet. There is a device called "Bluetooth Keyboard" is displayed, then just enter the number displayed string on the keyboard, press Return / Enter and you're done. Prima!
This works the way also with other smart phones / tablets that I have here at home in the access (including Note 3, S5, Tab 4 8.0).
The successful coupling is then always immediately available when they brought the respective device with Bluetooth activated in the vicinity of the keyboard.
Even the Standby the keyboard works great, after 15 minutes, the keyboard switches itself off, but a keypress it awakens directly on again.
Although she works very energy efficient (nominally 55 hours continuously, up to 60 days in standby) but you can switch the keyboard better to use than the on / off switch, otherwise unnecessary battery power is consumed.
The internal Lithium-Ion battery with 160 mAh (according to the manual) can be on the top right of the housing rim also attached microUSB port and the included microUSB cable in good 4.5 hours charging.
The charging process is indicated by a LED top right, this also serves as a battery level warning lamp.
If you have the Bluetooth connection is successfully made, it can work well with the keyboard.
The pressure points are unusually tired and legible keys are ergonomically well apart.
A numeric keypad with dedicated keys such as removal, position 1 etc. are but on this keyboard not available.
But can, for example, Home / PageUp / Down and End are fancied directly via the Fn key.
Somewhat uncomfortable, the holding nose for the shell function below the space bar.
This you can read it clearly shows and disturbs a bit when writing.
The range of the direct connection is good 8 meters, between two of my room at about 4 meters.
Thus, the keyboard also for PC, TV or media player is well suited.
Very smart, the usability of the keyboard is as a shell.
Simply the Tab S failed in the display page on the keypad / button and you can transport the combination safe and space-saving.
Small rubber feet on the keyboard while protecting the display of the Tab S.
I can Leicke Sharon Bluetooth keyboard altogether recommend.
The keyboard is high and from the functionality that is an absolute buy recommendation.
However disturbs me the Leicke lettering on the space key, the "hunchbacked" holding nose and not to be adjusted and unprotected fixture something.
An additional highlight was certainly a keyboard light.
I therefore like to give good 4 stars.
I hope this review could assist you in your buying decision
