As with most of his early albums there is no filler here and his songwriting innovative creativity remained unbroken. The snappy snappy tracks like, Teacher I Need You 'and, Elderberry Wine', he sets Thoughtful (Daniel 'Wistful (Blues For My Baby And Me'), dramatic (the great, Midnight Creeper ') and also self-ironic ( , I'm Gonna Be A Teenage Idol ') opposed.
The almost hillibillymäßige country of, Texan Love Song 'perhaps may seem a little naive, but fits very well to the dance songs at large, but never drives Pop.
The production - although smoother than in the previous albums - is going on here yet. The blowers are very tastefully and appropriately arranged to the honky-tonk passages, the guitar may - cautious, but, also from time to rock and the strings were actually just as tasty as on, Madman Across The Water 'set, as one never sweet icing.
, Goodybe Yellow Brick Road 'may be more ambitious, Madman' left a more profound impression, but the wonderful lightness and looseness mediates this album, is also quite great art - came to him, unfortunately, then lost in the 80s.
