I bought this amp for 3 weeks intensive search and compare and must say that I'm glad I decided so -> Top product!
By reading the internet through numerous product descriptions and reviews, it is now almost as difficult for the product to decide as before. Too many pros and cons to make a decision is not really easy. Especially to get through that many reading in the predicament that you often do not see the wood for the trees.
Had set me during my search over again on certain devices and was just about to buy the equipment. Thank goodness I have but then again slept again about it. Finally, I bought a device that I have previously not even known.
Had a problem with my car, so had in the workshop, while the related waiting time I went briefly to the electronics store next door and made my way into the stereo department. What I found there was really a hammer. Almost all of my favorite devices you I've had on the shortlist were erected there. Property me therefore by heard. For me not audiophile people the differences were hardly and only compared with each other to hear. But what has really shocked me was the build quality. All models of each brand (Yamaha, Denon, Pioneer, ...) which I had selected to date, and have looked really great on the internet on the manufacturer side, were made of cheap plastic, prepared partly pretty, but still plastic. When I had then attacked the equipment it was all over. Partly shook the buttons or had a game. Felt like all have inferior. -> That from that moment I knew that the sound will not be the decisive buying criterion.
Was quite disappointed when I noticed between the cheap a gem. A Cambridge 851A - very nice unit and really processed dibasic. Unfortunately, this device was moving price technically far beyond my pricing pain threshold. Therefore, I am back home and did some searching on the manufacturing side of Cambridge and thus I am just pushed to the 651A, priced although still high but with the knowledge of good workmanship but bearable. Have the amplifier now about 2 weeks and am very happy, really sharp sound.
The amplifier at me with two Canton Chrono 509 DC is used 3-way floorstanding speaker (160/320 watt), 1 piece, black Standlaustsprechern.
Since the boxes now not have the umwerfensten Bass I'm going to still look a subwoofer in addition to films set which, thanks to the existing Sub-out is not a problem.
When this amplifier is a high quality ("heavy") remote control which is probably a one-for-all Fernbedieung of Cambridge is, as many buttons on it are that are not needed at all, or have I not found meaning (for example: the number field seems to be unnecessary at this amplifier - do not know what). In large and whole, however, very easy to use. What's really cool, but what's struck me recently, is that if you use the remote control the volume changes the volume control on the device rotates (This has a start and stop)
In addition, I have still a Cambridge Cambridge Audio DacMagic Plus Digital to analog converter black (digital analog converter) bought what I now mainly operate mode with my iPhone in Bluetooth.
