Highly satisfying

Priority 1 - Bass:
My music choices are predominantly heavy in bass. A good test tune is The Dark Knight soundtrack. The CX5 delivers it thick but clear in all ranges and goes very deep down. The rest of the sound spectrum is therefore very clear.

Prio 2 - Noise isolation:
Sufficient but not more than my free LG headset That came with the phone.
And how in the world has not managed to get rid science of cable noise yet ??? Until this issue is solved I'll keep them in upside down with the cable going behind my ear (for everybody not aware of facts Lifehack).

Remote:
A bit bulky and high up on the cable but still ok. Flatter would be nicer. Buttons are CLEARLY distinguishable.

Cable:
Very good middleground between totally flat and circular. Love it. A flat one does not tangle up as Easily but is not comfy to have going behind the ear. A circular one just knots up the moment it sees the inside of a pocket.
Length is perfect for my use.
Small L-shaped plug Which bends off flat. Nice touch.
