So, then, a direct comparison with the Bravo Hits 84 can not be avoided. Both are popular sampler, super successful and because it fails on the Bravo one or the other current major hit single, the hope here was on the '69 edition of "The Dome", and I've noticed that. In fact, here the driving Smasher "Happy" by Pharrell Williams with it and thus a super current entry has been created. Because the relaxed song "Waves" (Mr Probz) can be found right at the beginning of CD 2. So it's really good if you want to be on the cutting edge.
But then quite honestly pronounced: What has partly found its place on successful songs of Bravo Hits 84, is missing here again. Ed Sheeran and the beautiful ballad "I see Fire" for example, or Macklemores "White Walls". I guess this critical point can be found again and again that some games are missing something. The very springlike, soulful "Liar Liar" by Cris Cab is still a good example or even Avicii's "Addicted To You". Now have consciously top ten singles called from the current German charts. I think it just does not work to expect all the songs on an issue and get to.
However, the important point for me is that the selection is consistent. So you feel no possible skip request. It has clearly dealing here with mainstream songs, but that does not necessarily mean less quality. This "Dome" issue is clearly audible and suitable for friends of dance pop and the lighter entertainment. There are many things to see. Sometimes even less known acts that could possibly emerge soon strengthened.
Inexplicable is only one on this issue: Why was the remix of "Timber" (Ke $ ha / Pitbull) placed? :) As well would a newer song can be introduced as "Dark Horse" by Katy Perry, another top ten hit.
Big plus for me: namely, that of "Changes" (Faul & Wad Ad vs. Pnau) the long version was taken. This is really great and can unfold the song still great. Listen mostly only this version, since it acts really nice chilled and playful.
Overall, one can -Issue like access with the new "Dome". To come again to the Bravo-back comparison, but I can not see any advantage. Both editions are fairly consistent, there is a lack of one or the other hit song, but so what?
