You like contemporary rock? You like blues? You like ballads that take your breath away? Then I have something for you: Coming Beth Hart, built in '72 and from LA, brings with her debut "Immortal" the passion in the music scene back that seemed to have disappeared since the demise of the great Joplin. A stunning voice that currently rules both the delicate Midsummer Night's touch and the hard autumn storm with a sleepwalking security. Here, their rough timbre lends distinctiveness. Here does not come the tenth edition of Sheryl Crow, here Beth Hart and no one else to come. Beth Hart makes rock music - no question - but this is ultimately relative. "Am I the one" for example, is a blues the old school - with an alternating between solo guitar and voice - as it is only trust the best voices. But my favorite is the power ballad "Hold me through the night," composed as a classic two sequences ballad with Bridging and consistent crescendo. If that's not because the passion prepares hackles who should worry about his emotional life.
