I bought this cable to plug my MP3 player on my old channel stereo ... I was a little afraid that the rendering quality is not at the rendezvous, but I was pleasantly surprised!
I plugged the RCA AUX inputs on my amp, and the mini jack on the output of my MP3 player. I just needed to go up the sound a bit, and hop ... longer need to invest in a mini mp3 chain.
In summary, good quality and perfectly meets my needs. I recommend!
