Very pleased I am with the following points:
+ Very easy to install Mac OS X 10.9.3 -'m not a techie,
+ Very good intuitive usability
+ Device makes a well-made and sturdy impression
+ Favorable follow-up costs in terms of ink
+ Noise, speed all good
+ Text scans you can edit
+ Price range very well
Not exactly happy but I am with the following (unfortunately important points):
- Print quality is not as good as imagined / print image with text rather dark gray than black and not as sharp as on my cheap laser Brother HL 2030
- Color prints / copies eg pictures have about every 3 cm strips
Overall, I do not know if I should keep the device. This thing's a real all-rounder. But the print quality in B / W does not convince me. If the sample reading texts okay, but I would submit to a customer in quality no printout. Stripes on the color printouts, even if I do not want to use the primary, I still think not good. I feel that the quality of prints is overvalued tend in the reviews. Everything negative which refers to the use and installation, I can not confirm. So I am very satisfied. But is also a matter of taste.
ADDENDUM: The print quality in S / W has improved significantly after I use another paper and also the strips in color printing have now disappeared. According to the really friendly and helpful customer service from HP have to watch out that you caught paper that has the seal of "Color lock". So, all is well. The HP Customer Care Service was really good, am fast get through the technician had tried to go through with my settings and then recommended me to try the said paper and made an appointment for telephone consultation with me. This worked very well - and I would by all accounts on customer service so not reading expected.
Will keep the unit and have it two stars revalued. But sure to use "Color lock" paper !!!!
