In the beginning I had concerns that the display resolution of 800 pixels is too small. Now I have to say that they do enough and nice enough for my purpose. This is now the state of the art for 8 inch displays. Most 8-inch display with 16:10 ratio suppliers are still struggling at the moment with technical problems like high energy consumption, quality defect.
The weakness of the M1 is that the RAM with only 1 GB is too small. Therefore, Huawei Pad tool has installed to turn off background programs. Even if one does, does almost everything.
The big hammer of M8 is that the two stereo speakers sit up front and therefore deliver very good sound quality. One can safely say that the M1 design is a copy of HTC One, which HTC is not the first to make so.
Since it can be found on the market no better 8 incher right now at this price, I forgive here 5 points.
If Huawei could improve in the future M1 with the same design the following points, this pad would be really can not be beat:
- 2GB RAM or more
- Higher screen resolution
Install Huawei's own latest processor Kirin 920 -
- Latest version of Android
- Better Camera
