I had loud in my boxes hum, after I had my TV connected to the receiver. Had then the sheath current filter (short version) set between the radio antenna input of the receiver and the radio antenna cable (the antenna cable had not be replaced). The humming is completely gone and the reception of the radio was in no way impaired. This configuration has solved my problem, so I have not tried the operation of the filter on the TV antenna cables. I would highly recommend the filter one hundred percent.
