I bought on sponsors the Microsoft Surface RT tablet PC at a very reasonable price. Given the choice, if I just want to get this here a keyboard with velocity or, I opted for the Touch Cover keyboard. Decisive for me were two factors: The Touch Cover keyboard looks chic and is also thinner / lighter than the keyboard with real buttons. I was pleasantly surprised when I realize that the keyboard can be quickly and securely attached to the tablet PC.
However, I found disappointing overall performance of the keyboard. I see the following weaknesses:
There are no lights, which indicates whether the Caps Lock key is activated. In addition, the stop is still getting used to if you're used to a conventional PC keyboard. I have the impression that you have to use the keypads with quite a lot of pressure, which does not suit me. So I'm typing quite a few typos. And because the tablet PC with Microsoft Office was delivered, that's a real problem for me. Getting used to the narrow layout of the keys for me. This also leads me - as a practiced writer on PC - for typos.
All prospective buyers, I would therefore recommend that you test the keyboard before buying. When you come with the keyboard cope, it is on their merits (weight, design) certainly great. However, those who can not get along well with the keyboard, should despair quickly and lose the fun of tablet PC from Microsoft. My rating (three stars) therefore has to be seen against this background: I am unfortunately subjectively with the keyboard not cope well, others may be different!
