Since the lamp is already highly praised in all reviews, but I can not fully share the majority opinions, I would like to attach a couple of criticisms. I bought the lamp 12 months ago and had it rough rule of thumb about 20 minutes used in 50 days. This is not permanent. Because of the risk of theft of such an expensive product I see myself also obliged every unscrew the lamp as soon as I get off the bike. In this context, equal to the first criticisms: The little plastic hand nut, with which one fixed screwed the lamp into its socket, is very small, to rotate as well as unhandy and not wearing gloves. Also rust (!) The only fixing screw, so I assume that the lamp at the latest after 3 more months can no longer be kept in the original bracket. The bracket anyway resolved fairly inelegant because you from the front to the rear of first pushes the lamp into the holder, the holder should be but slightly angled to the bicycle handlebar normally down (keyword glare, light cones on the ground). Thus, the lamp like slipping in to a slight tightening and normal vibrations of the mounting (forwards and down onto the street). The slight tightening happens incidentally very easy because the mounting mechanism is as written above very poorly resolved. If you screw them too tight, there is certainly a danger that you will destroy the plastic thread. In the soft thread in which you turn the rusty bolt, which unfortunately does not feel how solid they may actually screws before the thread which carries damage.
Although I find this cheap Befestigungsmaßname looks kind of cool, but does not justify the price of just 50 euros!
The lamp itself is completely overrated. Everyone is talking about an enormous luminosity, but when I come to meet other cyclists with Dynamo, I'm really envious of the huge bright light cone, which they put off itself. And I live in Berlin, as not just driving a few cyclists. While it's great that my lamp may illuminate almost 100m wide when she brings, it does but really nothing to safety when selectively illuminated only forward !! Only the front traffic can see me well ... Now you might think, the ring on the lamp but also so that you can see them from the side - but honestly, since my Pedalrefklektoren shine more when from another dynamo Cyclists are illuminated. As the flashlight Electronic gaming device, however, is perhaps good to use (it looks so frankly even look as had been originally designed for).
Na and the final reason to finally write a review here is quite simply in my trouble I have with the lamp for two days. You suddenly seems to have a loose connection, goes out constantly switched on SOS signal, then flashes again rapidly, then unregelmäig again, then it remains off again seconds then light and then dark to light. As soon as you plan the skin above it changes the mode or flickers stupid to himself. Well thank you. 50 Euros. Each 10 Euro halogen bulb tuts as longer and without electronic fault, larger and brighter light cone.
Other criticisms: Why hardly uses a lamp manufacturers a reasonable battery system? The switch from three AAA cells is (if one does not use batteries) in the wallet, because the luminosity is not of very long duration. The built-cylinder, in which the batteries are inserted, is indeed thought nice, but why not just a fixed built-in battery, which can be filled like a cell phone with a charger from the outside? But the money was apparently well invested more into the design, not in the functionality and usability.
I will now take on safety grounds to a larger lamp and throw away the good thing must (repair incidentally impossible because interesting components such as switches or light contacts are permanently installed in the metal jacket).
