Having used Canon Powershot previously and been very satisfied with their performance, I expected by controlling the SX 240 to replace the previous whose flash stopped working for a device with the same qualities and additional performance. Plus a number of cool gadgets (slideshow with various possible transitions between photos, for example) But my biggest disappointment was the result pictures taken indoors, with or without flash in automatic mode or AV mode white balance adjustment and optimization of settings to get the best possible clarity. They are much less clear than those taken in automatic mode with the Powershot A something (I do not remember the number) I used the last three years. Furthermore, the wide angle of the camera quite significantly distorts objects or persons located on the edges of the photo expanding, what the precedents were not Powershot.
