I guess, wants Madonna Die Another Day

"American Life" belongs neither to Madonna's best still to their worst albums. The CD is musically and lyrically sophisticated than its predecessor, "Music", the strength of "Ray of Light" and "Like a prayer" is not reached. Unlike "Music" has "American Life" a uniform style and also the vocoder was not too much into the foreground (with the exception of "Nobody Knows Me" and "I'm so stupid"). Musically combines Madonna Akkustik- guitar with electric sounds, folk and gospel with melody with rhythm. Unfortunately, the change in style of "Music" to "American Life" is not as large as the change in style of "Ray of Light" to "Music". Mostly you get the feeling that "American Life" ends where "Music" has begun.
Among the songs:
The highlights are definitely the title track "American Life" (I have a long time to get used to this song, but now I think he's awesome), "Hollywood", "Love Profusion", "Intervention" and "Easy Ride". A bit unusual but I think the fact that the tracks "Love Profusion" and "intervention" sound somewhat similar.
However, this album has weaknesses:
It's too short! Madonna intended recorded around 20 songs and only 11 of them are on this CD.
The cover could have been better. The songs are hardly poltische topics that cover, in contrast, has become very political.
Both video for the first single are danebengegangen. As regards the first (zurückgezogende) video, I can only say: Shame on you, Madonna! Wanting to make a profit with war, is the ultimate. In order to promote the song anyway, Madonna turned the True Blue video of the 21st century!
Nevertheless, every penny is "American Life" worth! There are very few songs that have become not good. The album deserves to be bought!
