I already have 4 of the APC brand UPS (Back-UPS 500), purchased there about 17 years, I have never had to complain and their effectiveness is not proven. UPS just dropped me, it does not ensure the supply of current in the event of a power failure and it is not the battery, I checked. So I ordered this new model identical to the old one on the Amazon site. The visible difference is mainly at the on / off switch that was on the old mechanical model. I'm a little wary because another model with this new switch (APC BE 325-EN), sometimes causes me discomfort, I preferred by far the mechanical switch.
UPS CS 500 is proposed here twenty euros less than in the more traditional distribution free port and saw the product weight (6kg), this is not nothing. Estimated time for delivery, 3 days ...
I never had to complain of products sold by Amazon, and I hope it will still be the same this time around.

Note: The positive wire is not connected to the battery and that's normal. So be it yourself after removing the self-adhesive protective tab. The connecting son to the battery terminals are really too short and their implementation is not easy, you have to have small hands ... On the old version there was a lot more leeway.
