I'm excited! And on the subject of door opening - here a secret ;-)

First, I can only add my voice to all the positive opinions: The freezer is really great and the price is simply unbeatable! We have him now for over four weeks running and would buy it again. We have also extensively dealt with the subject freezer and compared many other models - and our decision for this freezer of Siemens was the right.

For us it was important that the energy efficiency class is right and the freezer provides ample space, without having to constantly (as with the hated me freezers) must ransack itself. He is really very quiet and cool after immediately when closing the door. The NoFrost function is great too, no question.

Well, now the great mystery door open:

Of course, I've read all the reviews before buying and was aware of the fact that apparently leaves open the door only with immense pulling. For us it is even worse that the cabinet stands on an approximately 50 cm high heel and that pulling back and forth could bring to the door of the cabinet to falter.

What can I say? On my first attempt, I'm also failed miserably. I wanted to open the door in a jerk and that was really a tour de force. Therefore: Yes, the door is difficult to open. But now comes my ultimate tip: If you do not jerk the door just in a rearing, but slowly, it opens as if by magic! Through the frantic pulling the seal reinforced at the door even more, so that it becomes increasingly difficult to open the door.
If you open the door slowly, one hears formally as the seal dissolves gradually.

Therefore: something quieter, then there's me, a strong buy recommendation! :)
