Since a good week I have the Sony RX1R. Meanwhile, I have shot about 500 test photos. I photograph semiprofessionell since about 30 years, of which about 10 years. Many cameras have passed through my hands (from Nikon Leica to Hasselblad). The latter 2 years equipped with a CFV-50 Digiback with 50 megapixels. The Hasselblad is of course a "tough nut to crack" and it is difficult to use for specific tasks, especially when it comes to speed. That's why I've bought the RX1R. I can only say "WOW, what results !!" Even at full aperture the Zeiss Sonnar 2/35 provides clarity and detail from right into the corners. The Zeiss-people succeeded with this lightweight Wide a really big hit. The newest CMOS full-frame chip delivers up ISO 1600 noise-free results. There are loose enlargements up 70x100cm possible. I've tried it myself. The Hasselblad digital recordings are really no better !! On The Contrary. Thus, with the Hasselblad Digiback only implement ISO 800. This small and very handy camera is a dream for me. The price is absolutely justified. The only drawback is perhaps a little too slow autofocus. Many photographers will also might miss a zoom lens. If the results of this one sees Zeiss fixed focal length, then you will soon notice that are not possible with a Zomm such photos. My very high expectations for this camera were even exceeded! I have no words .... Michael fasting
