The cover is suitable for the first iPad. Since it is used with us only as the living room computer, it was only important that the back is protected. Unlike the simple TPU cases the shell is made of two materials, making a good-quality processed impression. For my current IPad I have not yet found anything like it, all tested to date have unfavorable edge solutions, including the Apple SmartCase.
