2. Camera offers an immense range of functions and it's fun to try anything once, although that's probably impossible. I appreciate in particular the Helllicht- and shadow correction and the Wi-Fi feature that allows convenient to shoot from unusual positions, without having to contort and just the photos (JPEG only) to be transferred to the Tablet. It is nice that I finally have a folding screen available. That's what I missed on my Canon. Toll is the touch screen for fast unnoticed photos. But usually I take pictures through the viewfinder, in which can be excellently read the settings.
Not tried it yet I really live Composite have, something that is completely new to me, but seems very interesting, what I took from various sample images, also from the below mentioned book by Reinhard Wagner.
Through the huge range of functions, some basic settings had to be made in the menu, who initially gives me trouble, because I have never previously photographed with an Olympus. Very helpful Was this the camera manual of Reinhard Wagner that he offers on his website for download. If these settings are done, it goes to
3. ease of use. Unlike some other reviews I find the e-M10 quite user-friendly. All important settings can be made in several ways, for example, the touch panel, the OK button, or if you often need a particular function on the default of a camera button. I think that everything is intuitive and you have only rarely to the menu, such as the type of stabilizer to change, for example in sports. Surely it would have been beneficial if there had been one or two vorbelegbare keys, but the camera is just very small. Also it would have been very nice if the dial would have provided the possibility to select one or two my-set settings above.
4. The Camera (Silver) looks great. I am thrilled genuine. To my mind, it is very convenient to mount the handle. The camera suits me more secure in the hand and the lower mass enables the handle also verwackungsfreiere shots at slightly longer exposure times.
5. The image quality. I have nothing to complain about. I photograph in JPEG + RAW format both. The images are sharp, the AF works precisely as a rule. The colors I have turned down a little. Usually the JPEG engine provides good results. If I am not satisfied, I do not was developing the RAW, but with the included software -the is a disease, or am I to blöd- but with Lightroom.
I am an amateur photographer who values good and interesting pictures. The I get back with this camera. I'm not quite sure if they come close in any case to the DSLR, but they are very good and if I only have to compare measurement data to determine differences, then to me the difference does not matter. Oh, I was pleasantly surprised that even with the built-MFT sensor cropping of objects works well. All in all I'm happy to have gained me the camera. I own them since April and could therefore already some experience.
