This tablet, however, is different: low as a Androidtablet because Microsoft here the otherwise expensive Windows 8.1 free verballert with the marketing fig leaf, that it was only because free because there with the largely unknown search engine "Bing" (yes, there are really) is connected. In fact, Microsoft is trying here market share against Android to secure with a crowbar (which I find quite fantastic). Bing is the change in the browser home Passe a matter of just two seconds. The tablet has a very high quality: metal (imitation) controls, glass (imitation) front, rubberized, non-slip back, everything very smooth and firm. Good sound (volume for watching movies at home fully in order), great picture (which sometimes criticized by other users, uneven illumination I do not see: only in dark movies can be at the bottom erahnen- the emerging illumination LEDs which I find but entirely acceptable). Only the off / standby button was initially a few times accidentally pressed by me, because it is unusual just above the volume control.
Speed is like the PC: rather more quickly because there is no hard disk rattles. All hits and hisses. Excellent. Unlike the PC-Windows 8.1 also no off button on the tile page exists, but that of course does not matter.
Operation: the touch surface works so great that I have the keyboard / mousepad (used keyboard as cover and as a stand for the tablet [magnetic elements make the use very comfortable]) have not been used (tried I have this already: also very class, although the tablet as a netbook works only at very stable locations: on the knees or on the sofa folds using a netbook with the keyboard is not, because the contacts between tablet and keyboard are only held together and dissolve quickly in shaky ground from each other).
Battery lasts from the day Daddelei.
By the way: instead of working I just daddel around. As expected ... ;-)
Full HD Streaming via wifi and Prime: perfect. Connection via HDMI also possible (not tried) to the telly.
Installation:
Perfectly. Although device makes first a few hundred MB update (as usual), then it asks for an existing Windows account (I have indeed this year qua change to 8.1) and by entering the data and input the received security code actually quasi in snap automatically the tablet as if by magic, another organ of the PC: e-mail sync apps snychron ... no Frickelei, no setup. What do I want more? Nothing. I can not believe I have to say this. But it's really like that. This works just as I would wish it to me. Bright Lights.
Summary:
thick buy recommendation. Really.
PS:
yet something trivial in the end:
The boxes in which tablet and keyboard supplied are, apart from loopy luxury perfume droplet Bling Bling Extra Expensive precious packaging is by far the most curious thing I ever saw in packaging technology: with silver, embossed font and solid, dignified material , Really amazing. And yes, I think that the package has not promised too much.
