Who does not want to do without when using an external monitor to the usual Thinkpad TrackPoint and ergonomics, is supplied with the ideal keyboard. No touchpad, no numpad, the mouse is handily next to the Enter key.
The layout corresponds to the newer Thinkpad models (2011) and hence differs from older models from. The enlarged picture of customers' elektranox "[...] shows the actually delivered keyboard.
The keys are short-stroke and allow for fast and accurate writing.
On the supplied CD driver necessarily install (manual note), so you can change the TrackPoint Settings and Fn and volume buttons work.
In the Control Panel (mouse) the TrackPoint appears on its own tab in addition to the built-Ultranav control. To allow you to adjust for the built-in trackpoint and make separately in this keyboard.
Processing is light but solid. The USB cable can be shortened by folding in a recess on the keyboard bottom to the desired length if necessary.
I have previously sent back a similar keyboard (original IBM with Ultranav and older layout) for bouncing keys and missing drivers and am very happy to have finally found ours.
