I have this memory card now for over five months and use it mostly in my Canon 400D. Advantage with such a large card is that you sometimes can easily let the photos of a couple shootings it without having to be claustrophobic, and therefore still has a kind of backup. For smaller maps also fewer photos are then indeed be lost if the card gives up the spirit, but you are just too often forced the card after copying / before the next photo tour fully to format, so you have space. Those who prefer to have two cards, can also sometimes view of this, the 8GB models, a large price difference does not exist between two 8GB cards and a 16GB card at the time, yes.
Since the 400D "only" with about 10MB / s write (a RAW photo is approximately 10MB in size), the possible write speed probably not fully exploited, but while reading as well as writing on Mac with an appropriately enabled card reader (Mine is just appropriate, Transcend) to get before quickly to 20MB / s. So I can also easily use the map as a USB stick replacement (if one has acuh a compact card reader, most laptops have only yes most SD slots or even smaller).
Conclusion: I have the map "time" for 60 euro bought and would give her five stars for the price! Currently it costs about 40 euros, which is a strong buy recommendation!
