The Problem:
HM LAN adapter unpacked,
no CD case.
Latest software downloaded, installed,
FW update durchgeführt-
Adapter only offline or visible in Maintenance.
The update I have done on the program shortcut on the desktop.
After many attempts and a sleepless night I have (for me)
the solution found:
It is important that not only the Bicos services but also the HM Config installed.
If I configure the update via the Start> Programs> HomeMatic Config> Utilities> HomeMatic Interface
anstosse it works and the adapter is online again.
Been boldly tried again on the desktop shortcut,
Result: Offline.
Update on the Start link:
Result: Online.
The desktop shortcut points to the BidCoS folder.
The link points to start the HomeMatic folder.
The update I have always done:
Press button and then hold on to power,
Release button.
I think this is a bug by the manufacturer.
hopefully it will resolve the problem soon.
So now I'm going to continue with the new components testing,
hopefully there are no more surprises.
