Image:
During normal (Cable) watch television, the image is mMn perfectly fine, although we only receive the Örs in digital. (Look not really a TV)
See ARD / ZDF in HD very good, but even the analog channels see on viewing distance (about 3-3.5 meters from us) quite neat, but who also has such watches TV anyway :) Digital
When used with 1080p material (via PC) but the picture is really very good! While there are screens with better black level, but as long as something "not black" in the picture is, one sees black as black. Also occur no disturbing halos but a completely black image on the sides is slightly brighter!
The colors I find it good (after 15 minutes to work with the settings). The Standard profile I absolutely can not recommend, but that was far in any screen I had the case.
As a PC monitor, it is not really usable.
Games within a reasonable distance, of course, go very well (with gamepad on the sofa: D), but for the general desktop operating you have to be too far away just to make it look not too blurry and tiring. This is but every time I know TV like that.
3D:
Really surprised me!
It's like in the movies, of course, on a smaller scale!
But it is strongly on the source. In Wrath of the Titans, for example, there was a point where we have twitched briefly, as a stone "flew out of the picture" really surprising: D
When the 3D material is good, then the 3D effect looks good. Unfortunately, many films use only the depth effect, and "out of the picture" matters little.
The reduced resolution falls in movies absolutely not negative. ZDT we even seen as a side-by-side, in other words it was only 960x540 pixels. But already at 2-3 meters from the falls on no longer. (To explain: The TV works with polarization technology for the 3D effect, which is similar to used in the cinema, which means that each line is only visible to one eye, so 540 lines for each eye)
There is no flicker as with shutter glasses!
Sound:
I do not use the built-in speakers, but as the testing I found it actually quite good. Much more can not be expected of small built-in speakers.
Operation:
How do I find very clearly structured, the remote control is not crowded, and everything is arranged logically.
Other Features:
Streaming via a DLNA server on the network, as well as playing media on USB sticks and hard drives (tested with external 2TB HDD) works perfectly.
Navigating through the folders on the HDD goes forest thanks to a large overview and easily, even thumbnails are displayed, actually as you would expect from a Windows interface.
Processing / Appearance:
Again, I have nothing to complain about.
The base is rock solid, and can not absolutely move. Also upset is really hard!
He therefore does not immediately fall off the table edge when times encounters something about it.
The image is quite strong reflective, which is why in unfavorable lighting in dark images / movie sites mirroring seen from space!
Summary:
+ Good picture
+ Acceptable sound
+ Good 3D effect
+ No flicker due to polarization technology (in compared with shutter glasses)
+ Stable base
+ Simple and clear operation
+ - Mirror-image, resulting in better image quality, but also problems in poor lighting conditions
Easy to see bright patches with very dark or black image -
- Standard image profiles really bad mMn
Just to make it clear once again: You really should lend a hand with the settings before judges on the image!
Subsequently a few tips:
Especially with HD footage, or if you connect the PC, you should put down the "Sharpness" setting. (Did it at 50, seems to me the neutral value)
But even with blurry images this setting is counterproductive. Therefore, just leave at 50.
All under 50 blurs the image, and all about ~ 55 forms with colored surfaces "patches", actually the same as the Sharpen Tool in image editing programs :)
Also, one should at "ratio" of 16: 9 Set to Just Scan, otherwise a part of the image is cropped! Derived at least in one HDMI signal from my PC.
And here my other settings:
Profile of "standard" and then left:
Lighting 60
Contrast 70
Brightness 50
Sharpness 50
Color 60
Tint 0
Color Temp. W20
Rest I think I left.
So I have a very good picture MMN!
