The picture is super, the sound really great. However, I did not hang the supplied plastic Brüllwürfel off but the front and rear Heco Victa zei Devil Eggs. Completely thrilled I reproduced from the TV sound through the system: The rear-LS are directly behind the couch and set the tone, especially language, clear again, which considerably reduces the volume level in the evening.
So far everything well and I was heavily inspired when ... the part would always work. When connected to a TV LG 55LM640S it happens now and again that the system selects the Optical connector as audio channel during Simplink connection instead of through HDMI (ARC). Since I have angeshlossen selbiges cable nciht (including, HDMI is available), then no sound comes out. One has to resort to TV sound.
In the forums you can read that this is not an isolated case, LG has no solution (except an Optical cable to connect) and is further not interested in a solution. Software is currently on both devices. Funnily enough, you could switch to the previous system ARC and Optical remote control. At this facility you can switch between Optical, FM radio and music player menu. Select ARC? Nope.
The fact that the operating concept is based on the Korean SME and Europe now is more of a niche market, is clearly noticeable. This example results in the unloving to idiotic (or not possible) channel sorting to TV devices. The Koreans do not need that. By so rather strange operating concept I can still live. But that can not be used an important function, which is more than annoying. Unfortunately, I can no longer return the investment. And a defect does not exist really.
