If tight and unpleasant smell

I had ordered this jacket because they liked me well in the pictures, I still needed a weather and wind resistant jacket for my upcoming vacation and they had good reviews. When they arrived (Wow, Amazon overnight service is really unbeatable!) I was unfortunately only once overwhelmed by the incredibly strong plastic smell that exudes the jacket. Even my roommate (which really is not empflindlich, for that matter) was that uncomfortable. At the dressing room I had the jacket in any case only once do not want to hang.

Since the jacket also quite close fails (ie me is too small), it goes back. Thus, I could not test whether the smell will disappear after a few days. Inside she has this - typical weather jackets - mesh lining, which I do not like so, on which I would have overlooked, the jacket would otherwise great.

I had yet to Queenstown Coat ordered as selection. The falls slightly bigger (there is also more freedom of movement in the shoulders) and the material I personally like better. Almost looks like cotton and it does not smell as intense as the Connemara jacket by far (the upper is incidentally rather, as with traditional raincoats).

Of course I can not comment on the wind- and waterproof properties say there have not been tried.
