I have a "light" UWW for my D800 camera searched and ordered due to some quite promising test's power in this lens. Processing I would call good. Nothing rattles or wobbles. The focus ring is muted. I had known in advance that the Unendlichstellung will not agree with this objective. One must therefore find out for yourself. For me it is on one. So focus ring to one, and from 2-3 meters everything is sharp. When the lens is superior to manual aperture to 22, can be adjusted as usual directly to the camera, at least for Nikon, aperture. All Exif's are transmitted. As far as I was all known and therefore not a problem for me. For imaging performance: I want to use it mainly for nature shots, so usually at higher f-stops. That's here but also necessary because the imaging performance at full aperture (2.8) is not really usable. From 5.6 it is but a lot better. At 8-11 but then you have at the center a top imaging performance. The edges are in these aperture values quite acceptable. The unacceptable deficiency in my lens was significant decentralization. (Left margin out of focus) I'll replace it and even test a second. With proper centering I have a really good lens for ultra-wide-angle to full frame. Perhaps one should also mention the unusual, wavy distortion. But we can remove with some photo editing programs with a mouse click! While there is a Nikon 14 mm 2.8, which, however, never reached the edge of the Walimex I think in the middle. And 14-24er, with a kilo, I would not do this to me. I'm going by the Second report .................
Edit .: 25.05 The second objective is properly centered! Use it already a couple of weeks and am always impressed by the image quality of the D800!
