So ... what is the most important:
The design is simple, sophisticated and high quality because of the very narrow margin kept in dark gray metal sound. The televisions are available in 2 narrow rails. Simply push it (the long side forward) and tighten.
The connections are all well labeled and sensibly arranged. There's even a USB 3.0 connection, this is reserved but determined for the hard drive that is formatted in a specific format Panasonic.
Pleasing was the immediate network access by plugging the network connector. That is user friendly.
The menu I am sorry to say, is less well thought out and I think confusing and overflowing of settings, information, and technical terms that do not make the handling of Panasonic VIERA very intuitive. My Samsung recognized the channel provider and the channel scan function with a single click.
Complete novice in the land of opportunity (DVB-C, DVB-T or DVB-S and DVB via IPClient) I had to make clever myself first. No, honestly, I had everything except via DVB IPClient (incidentally, a great thing, and very fortschrittllich) and DVB-S (the little icon was seen as a satellite Adapters) unchecked. Unfortunately, the navigation with this gruesome remote control is not my favorite thing, since even when OK Click I saw that DVB-S still had a hook and accordingly my station list was completely empty. My attempt that failed to change because the only remaining possible choices analogous. Everything else was gone. Frustrated, I ran it just so I could at least see something. Then the menu item COMPLETELY disappeared from the operation and there remained only the reset to factory settings.
The manual throws antenna and cable together under the heading antenna and so I've read the first Drüber no help found.
I've certainly made not just clever, but unfortunately I was not much help as Panasonic.
But when I finally was able to see what (of the analog transmitters apart times, in this TV size is not fun has really more to it) has impressed me the picture quality of Vieras. It is worth the purchase of HD channels, because with a resolution of 3840 x 2160, a difference is there clearly seen. But really shows the strength of the VIERA until 4K films and especially in 3D - once in a while -the activ 3D glasses from Samsung work here tadelllos. The colors are brilliant and also possess a remarkable 2D depth. The color fastness and beauty are the main reason for my enthusiasm for this TV. No one makes him of something and proves that he is his money worth.
In some reviews I've read complaints about the sound. I have no special sound system and unfortunately could not connect my Sony Bluetooth speakers, but with a lot of really nothing special at the sound on. Even at higher volumes there are for my ears no discord or scratching or the like. But I have also not very specific claim.
Playback via "Play to" function via Wi-Fi (100MB network) is working properly and smoothly, in a normal HD quality. 3D and UHD is probably better played directly via USB, but also because there are smaller stuttering, unfortunately.
The technical possibilities for individual create a completely individual TV experience (eg room lighting, local dimming to) are manifold and art fans can run riot as desired.
But there are a few things that are not quite round and this is especially a shame because I think that the Panasonic VIERA has the potential to produce great viewing experience and because I think that you can not in this price range just in terms of usability should back off.
I am not particularly enthusiastic about the menu, I have already mentioned. The TV Guide is still terrible (and not only visually, well you'd think it would be again 1985). He is terribly cumbersome and not intuitive. Nothing goes with a single click. There is no shift and no pre-programmable transmitter change what I miss. Although you can pre-program a recording while is also switched, but that's only a makeshift.
The remote control is a horror. Large, bulky and with a giant Netflix button, which, however, is completely useless, because the app is not yet available, although the streaming providers is active in Germany since last year. For this, however, the button is so present that I as constantly click on it. For thick knobbly thumb that is nothing. What I miss my little touch operation from Samsung.
In addition, the hard drive is never switched off. And sometimes he plays no sound in some films.
Admittedly, that is bleating at a high level, but eventually the price is in the 4-digit range.
As always, you should be well informed of technical devices, whether the device meets the individual requirements. I think a little bit, the new Firefox OS to be improved. But technically the TV is far ahead.
