The HD8 + I was "really" otherwise very satisfied.
My expectations for this Xtrend were more likely not as high. At least I wanted some
Accept compromises when managing the recordings would easily.
At the very first time I got stuck, because I had not managed to add TV tuner.
I played then immediately another image on "OpenPLi" because I had already found me and this
me something had informed what I have to do everything.
The installation did not work out. Googling and experimenting again.
It was then on my USB stick - of which the receiver would not boot.
Another stick was then that I discovered by chance.
Even with OpenPLi I could not establish a satellite tuner until I again by chance
it came that the last menu items then not with the OK button, but with "left / right"
be set. As has "someone" not thinking ...
Embarrassing mishap for a software developer with 35 years of practice :-)
But - REALITY - maybe it's the other way and therefore also here this notice :)
Nungut, OpenPLi was on the channels eingerichtet.Das went relatively easy.
After recently "googled" cccam installed HD + and Sky (S02) inserted card,
and it worked immediately.
Network connection to the PC and test the recording.
Class, it worked immediately. Even with HD + :)
Timeshift on network jerky with me, so I then set up on a USB stick.
Unfortunately jerky here. But even much less. I have then a "very fast"
USB stick purchased new. Thus it was in principle ... but as a trailer per 30 minutes, there was already still.
With the current PLI from mid-April the bucking is gone and it goes smoothly and timeshift via network :)
Pity about the rather expensive stick, which I now do not really need.
I have the receiver now over 4 weeks, and have since tinkered my own skin.
I am rather bright, simple skins so towards "Technisat-Skin" :)
One problem there was now with "Sky Select HD" - it was just black. I then found somewhere
in a forum, that you should turn on before a SD channel. This then helped indeed.
Unfortunately, the film was already running 45 minutes. Sky has the report back to me and I looked at him right afterwards.
I feel the receiver as sensational and sensational value for money.
Even in my application, I save even the CI module (also 50, - Euro) and thus I have a
HD + and Sky-enabled for about 80 euros (CI module out reckoned what other receivers yes sometimes require additional)
TechniSat HD8 + had left in ebay after a few hours of the purchase price of the ET4000 !!!
And was now good 3 or even 4 years old. Good deal for me.
And last but not least: The picture is much better than the Technisat and better than anything else I
have ever seen on a satellite receiver.
Even my "blind" woman this is noticed, without knowing that the receiver is now another.
So, now my plus / minus points for this device:
+ In my opinion unbeaten image quality
+ Ultra-low power consumption
+ No fan and virtually no heat production
+ Price of the absolute HAMMER
Without Internet and computer skills to use o barely
- Virtually no documentation
- Information / help only via forums on the Internet
5 stars only for image quality
+ 1 extra star for the price
+ 1 extra star for the functionality
+ 1 extra star for the power consumption
- 3 stars for missing and not downloadable document
Remain honest and more than deserved 5 stars.
