With this equipment, all connections remain in place when you take your PC elsewhere. Note that Plugable sent me an email with the address of the driver download before the equipment is delivered. When the equipment was delivered, I was able to conduct its first installation. Then the installation of this station takes only 5 minutes by my watch. 3 points should be noted: - 2 USB ports on the front panel are a bit harsh. It surprises at the beginning and it is likely that one tries to insert the plug upside down. - Mobile often with only one USB3 socket, it is taken to connect this equipment to the PC. - If your laptop does not have USB3 socket, the station will not be of any interest.
