I am someone who immediately after acquisition staring them on any device with a screen protector - mainly for the "value retention". Now I had on my last phone, the Galaxy S4, for the first time the problem is that the image quality is worse by a standard protective film, by the "rainbow" effect. Even fingerprints are enough that ugly streaks can be seen by the additional reflective layers. To avoid this effect in my new S5, I tried it once with a "real-glass-foil" ... Lo and behold, it works: The finger slides like the original glass, and do not form streaks. Alone for that I give it 5 stars.
When applying you must of course embarrassing pay close attention to get no lint under the film, but the supplied adhesive tape is very helpful. The only previously observed drawback if you will, is the but significantly increased thickness, which is associated with increased accumulation of dust at the edges and at the press of the "Home" button etas noticeable.
In summary: The film works well, good protection and perfect fit outweigh the small disadvantages over on.
