I purchased the notebook for a good friend who has little computer experience and then openSUSE 11.2 set plays, which has recognized all the hardware without any problems. (Installation time about 20 minutes) I am a software developer and have worked with many notebooks, but that the notebook supposedly has a relatively dark screen, I can not understand. I find that matte non-glare display is sufficiently bright with good contrast. Super, that this Display type entry level still exists.
The notebook is enough for the home user to surf, listen to music, watch movies, burn CDs and DVDs and for office work. It is pleasantly quiet and consumes about 30 - 50 Watt low power.
I initially considered to get a used laptop, but found that absolutely does not worth it, after I discovered this offer.
