I have this device (55 ") now for over 4 months.
I think I can do something professional manner contribute to the topic, I am conditioned, very Techikversiert by my profession.
PRO:
-Slim Design
-For The size fairly easily
-Very Good picture (cable Germany Digital Receiver)
-Very Good sound (integrated subwoofer)
-Very Good Bildscalierung when watching movies on a USB drive (USB 2.0)
-Plays Good as all popular media formats (eg MKV, MPEG-4, DIVX, XVID)
-Easy Setup
-Very Matte surface thereby hardly reflections
Power depending sensational for this size
-Arc (Audio Return Channel to connect a Home system to also be able to hear the television over Dolby, simple device included)
NEUTRAL:
Pixel HD + sharpening options (values I deliberately neutral, since it is matter of habit. I did not have something like that before and had to get used to it, as well as the American movies look like German evening series. If you have to first get used to you will no longer at no . I go at least. Who does not like it it can also exhibit)
CONTRA:
Menu system somewhat sluggish (you need but anyway good as never since one only once all sets)
Remote control (the buttons are not intuitively located)
-From And you can see very slight clouding one notices but barely and only really dark scenes to see
-Only A USB port (if you want wireless took a hindrance)
-Aufnahmefunktion On HDD only when connected Internet possible
EXPERIENCE:
Now that I was this TV test extensively, here my first conditions:
I do not have the internal receiver so I can not comment this unfortunately. For me the TV via HDMI cable from a digital receiver Germany is fed. This provides a very good picture. The HD channels are played back crisp and the "normal" programs are also acceptable. Blue-Ray is amazing because here the full 1080p so can be used a progressive reproduction of the image in 1: 1 format.
Distance with me from the viewer to the device is about 5 meters. Just as you would normally also calculated. per 10 inches of the TV should be 1 meter of sitting away to not be able to identify the pixels in the image. If one considers it's all great.
Viewing angle is also class. No significant adverse effects if, like me, it looks from the table about 50 °. The colors do not change and the lighting is only minimally distorted.
Topic power consumption. I previously had a plasma screen from Samsung 42 "which, although very good picture and color had, but ate a well out of house. This has consumed an average of 250W. In terms of Phillips I have an average of about 90W. Although not the promised 66W, but (not beautiful color more and dark) Means must also say that I do not go to power saving mode, because me personally the image then to "lax" is concrete:.. Old TV with ~ 4h operating time per day 350kwh in year. New TV (Phillips) at ~ 4h operating time per day 130kwh in. Makes about a save-at 22cent per kwh of 50 a year. In other words, a cost of television 30 in current. And that's remarkably little.
CONCLUSION:
A super device. No matter what size you choose you can win at the price only. Who does not need 3D for this device is the ideal choice. Easy to use with many features to which I am now not received. Internet TV, apps, WiFi (with stick then no USB longer free), Power Options, diverse settings in the image, automatic shutdown if it is time to sleep in front of the device, recording to hard disk (strangely only when Internet is connected selectable) etc etc. ,
From my side, highly recommended. I would not want to swap.
For each of the average consumer really just looks and wants to leave no missile launch so it is a strong buy recommendation.
