I use the cable in combination with an LG Smart TV and the Sony STR-DE495 AV Receiver.
Standard stereo sound like the TV transmitters or MP3s from an external source are passed properly to the Receiver.
Decisive for me it's also media containing a 5.1 sound track with 5.1 surround sound to enjoy. This works fine.

The delivery was fast, the gilded connector do what her (significant qualitative differences between gold-plated / gold-plated are not unknown to me) and the plug snaps firmly. I can not make any deficiencies identified. Simple product - funktiert as it should.
