The Jinhao 159 appears at first glance quite massive - and it is. Nevertheless, he feels good in the hand and is also suitable for longer typing. The very large spring is supposed to be gold-plated. (I'd bet more on Rhodium Plated.) She writes in any case well and looks very clean processed from. The ink is very good. The spring force is not specified, but a good enstpricht M. The shaft is made of painted metal (probably brass), the plastic cap, the cap head back metal. The cap has a screw cap and can be attached and rear. The supplied converter is not just quality, but does the job. Alternatively, fit both the short and the long Pelikan cartridges into it. I prefer cartridges, because they are easier to handle and containing more ink than the converter.
I have now written about 30 pages so that, with Pelikan and Parker ink.
