First the brand is not SignalKing but Koenig. The characteristic data seem somewhat fanciful: 800 m indoor range, 3 km outside 48dbi. Documentation is half English, half Chinese. Windows 8 is only a driver when connecting the device to the USB port: it's probably best to software delivered on 2 CDs. I can capture a Wifi terminal in a house about 20 meters from my house with a good signal level, whereas with the wifi onboard my PC that does not pass.
