The protector has 2 straps for attachment to the hand and forearm. This can actually expect a good grip. This was not the case with me (though much better than the "TSG Protector Wristguard All Terrain"). The maintenance should but should perhaps be reviewed by each itself. If the protector but does not fit properly, not a good protective effect can be expected in the event of a fall. I also think the protector through the belt 2 very clunky and it is difficult to fold into a glove.
I now use the "Dakine Wrist Guard" and would recommend to continue. Firmly and can also be good to use under gloves.
