It's the same with this adapter. I am anewiesen on him, I have to activate my internet connection via a Eathernetkabel every 18 hours. Otherwise I use the wireless interface my MacBook Airs and I see no reason not to do so.
The size and "rigidity" of the adapter does not really bother because an Ethernet cable looks really very clunky. What I am particularly pleased that this piece of cable magically works with the Mac. He is recognized and used directly, as it should be.
Also noteworthy is the good maintenance of Eathernetkabels in adapter. Apart from the standard Klipsters also 2 small metal balls inside create a snug fit. A cable holding theoretically without Klipser.
