I bought this product on Amazon and the speed of sending me amazed. Simply unbeatable fast. Was delivered within 2 days, great.
So Amazon is not my fault that I can give only 2 stars!
There were among others problems when using and supporting documents of the 4 function keys.
I have tried using the Epson own chat support to solve the problems.
I can only say a disaster. Will the confused responses of 2 support staff, which I'm meanwhile advised not prefer to publish here.
A description of the problem in the course of a chat about 8 - sent 10 times back and forth can sometimes take loose 2 (two) hours!
Since then dip the answers support engineer with me on that were intended for another questioner. Or is there a chat break of about 20 minutes where I already had in between questions, "Halloooo you are at all still there?" Yes, he said he has only a short time on the phone. Super, right?
Long story short.
It was not to prove the 7 E-mail scan button on Windows with the associated Windows Live Mail. The Epson software has sought clearly to Outlook, which is known under Windows 7 Home Premium is not compatible.
On the Epson homepage to this scanner V30 is advertised with an image enhancement program Photo Fix, which may well not be used under Windows 7. My repeated question of this software has been completely ignored.
Thus, these scanners, under the promised Epson Windows 7 use, including parts of the advertised software disabled.
It may thus be a bad scanner, if you do not use it under Windows 7.
Or if you are happy with fewer keys and fewer software as promised.
